MANAGEMENT/PROGRAM DIRECTOR

With the support of the Administrator/Executive Director, the Program Director will oversee COR’s responsibilities assigned in the person’s Support Plan.

 

The PD will support and encourage persons in reaching their life goals and dreams using person-centered thinking, planning and service delivery. 

 

The PD oversees the financial and operational management of designated services to successfully uphold and advance the mission.  The PD collaborates with various team members to develop and implement effective programs.   They mentor, lead, coach, support and supervise Program Coordinators.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

¨    Has received a bachelor’s degree in a field
related to human services.

¨    Brings a minimum 50 hours of education and
training related to human services and disabilities and four years of full-time
experience providing direct services to persons with disabilities.

¨    Brings a minimum of two years of experience in
management/supervision.

¨   Brings knowledge and experience with regulations
and finances related to waivered services.

¨    Possesses excellent leadership and
decision-making skills.  Strong listening
skills are required.

¨     Stays current on regulations and legislative
activity.

¨    Effectively develops and manages strong relationships with county and state agencies.

¨    Brings a heartfelt passion and mindful presence to make a difference!

¨    Possesses a valid driver’s license.

¨   Visionary/detailed/big picture/future thinking.

¨    Ability to multi-task.

¨    Will advocate for people and their rights.

¨    Will offer choices to people.

¨    Will interact comfortably with people who have difficulty

understanding or speaking.

¨    Will complete trainings as needed/required.

¨    Will demonstrate moderate computer and technology skills.

¨    Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.

¨    Possesses the ability to prioritize and problem solve.
